Sillons

Photographic series (2025)

This series explores the graphic trace of the passage of water, delineating contrasts separated by a furrow. The title of the series echoes in French both the name of the geographical shoreline where these photographs were taken ("le Sillon"), and the word in its plural form “sillons” (furrows) to designate each specific trace. This emphasises the resonance between the shoreline as a whole and the minute traces left within it.
